1、作为不及物动词，表示某个事件或事情的发生，常和介词to连用，表示出现在某个位置或时间。例如：The accident occurred on the highway.（事故发生在高速公路上。）
2、作为及物动词，表示某件事情的发生，后面可以接名词或代词作宾语。例如：The idea never occurred to me.（我从来没有想到这个主意。）
3、occur to sb表示某个想法或意识突然出现在某人的脑海中。例如：It occurred to me that I had left my keys in the car.（我突然想起把车钥匙忘在了车里。）
4、occur with sth表示厢咆廨炝某个事件或情况伴随着另一个事件或情况同时出现。例如：The storm occurred with strong winds an颊俄岿髭d heavy rain.（这场暴风雨伴随着狂风暴雨。）
5、It occurs to sb that…表示某人想到了某个想法或解决了某个问题。例如：It occurred to me that I could ask my friend for help.（我想到我可以向我的朋友寻求帮助。）
